Rhythmic poetry as an invocatary piece, varnam in praise of lord Ranganatha of Srirangam, the legends of Krishna in Krishna Astotharam and thillana are featured in the DVD. Varnam which is an important component of bharathanatyam is in raga Bahudari and rare rhythmic patterns in the form of jathis and arudis composed by Guru Kaaraikkudi Mani.
