All his works are marked by healthy humour & spontaneity. He is also a renowned Tamizh poet and a versatile painter.

Director S.B.Khanthan who has directed more than 5500 stage shows, nearly 600 weeks of TV serials and Jery, A rip roaring Tamil Film of Crazy Mohan made his directorial debut in “Here is Crazy”. S.B.Khanthan has also written and directed documentaries on Carnatic music Legends like GNB, Brindamma, Ramnad Krishnan,Tanjavur S.Kalyanaraman, S.Rajam and A.Kanyakumari and impressive works of Lalgudi G.Jayaraman, Umayalpuram K.Sivaraman, Chitraveena N.Ravikiran and T.M.Krishna. A host of corporate communication films and advertisements also form an important part of his repertoire.
