Guruvayoor Dorai is one of India most celebrated exponents of the mridangam. Disciple of the legendary Pazhani Subramania Pillai and torchbearer of the Pudukkottai school, Sri Dorai has completed 60 years of concert performance. His vast experience of accompanying many giants of Carnatic music explains his uncannily superb and perfect anticipation of the musical nuances.
