This product brings to music lovers a garland of Viruttams brilliantly performed by Prof. T.R. Subramanyam, a doyen among Carnatic musicians. He has sung both Tamil and Sanskrit Viruttams in the most enticing manner emphasizing on the enunciation of the words and giving great importance to the raga bhava and emotional content of the lyrics. In most of these Viruttam passages he has been accompanied by Violin virtuoso T. Rukmini and in a few by the violin maestro M. Chandrashekar.
