Sri Yagnesa Maharishi (Dr. S. Venkataraghavan) author of the songs was the disciple of Pujyasri Isa Maha Guru Dampati who initiated him into Sri Vidya Upasana. These songs are profound in meaning and have been sung immaculately by one of the most remarkable musicians in the Carnatic Music field, Smt. Nityasri Mahadevan.
