Thyagaraja Ramayanam – T.S.Balakrishna Sastrigal 2MP3

175.00

The Concept of Thyagaraja Ramayanam is the brain child of Harikatha Legend Brahmasri T.S.Balakrishna Sastrigal. Sathguru Thyagaraja, a divine gem among the Carnatic Music Trinities did not author Ramayanam to be termed as Thyagaraja Ramayanam. But Brahmasri TSB Sastrigal, who soaked himself in the Ocean of Saint Thyagaraja’s Kritis, formatted Thyagaraja Ramayanam through in depth analysis and passionate interpretation of these inimitable compositions.

This album is a memorable retrieval from the archives of Brahmasri TSB Sastrigal’s 11 days long discourse at Mumbai several decades ago with the melodious co-singing of his brother Sri.T.S.Vallesan.
