This album contains some of Ambujam Krishna’s less well-known compositions, tuned by the legendary musician-scholar *Sangita Kalanidhi* Dr. S. Ramanathan. Sung by his prime disciple Smt. S. Sowmya, the compositions have been rendered as envisaged by Dr. Ramanathan and learnt directly from him. These songs were presented at the Music Academy, Madras in a live performance under the auspices of the Ambujam Krishna Foundation on Sept. 11th 2010.
